Working at the car wash!

On the 6^th November 2010 Trucks 2 Go's car park was alive, facing the charity event of a car wash. The car park which faces the ever so busy Warrington Road was soaked with soap and water as Paula Jefford of Trucks 2 Go, set about washing cars, vans etc with children from the Cadishead under 14's football team.

Paula and the youngsters washed cars from 9am till 2pm to try to raise funds in order to be able to compete within a football tournament which would take place in Spain. The football tournament was very much in the hearts of these youngsters and is due to take place in May 2011.

The support from the local people was fantastic and this event alone managed to raise over £260.00 for the cause.

Big thanks go out to all who took part.  From those who washed the cars, to those who brought their vehicles in to be washed!

It’s nice to see the passion that these youngsters have and we wish them all the best in gaining funds for what will be a truly amazing trip to Spain, let’s hope you win that tournament!
